Marine Squadron 165

2017 Reunion Call To Arms

To All White Knights:

The accomplishments of HMM-165 are many. We all have reason to be proud. Whether during battle or humanitarian missions or just supporting our Marines, we have been ready, willing and able. Additionally, one of our squadron member’s silhouette is on the second most recognized flag in the USA, our Country’s POW/MIA Flag… Major Steve Hanson. Our legacy is now being carried forward by VMM- 165. Already battle tested their accomplishments are adding to our collective history.

To celebrate this history, The White Knights of HMM-165 and VMM-165 get together every odd year to hold a reunion. As a current or former White Knight we hope to see you at our next Squadron Reunion which will be held on June 8, 9, 10&11, 2017 in Washington, DC. Our main base will be the Hyatt Regency Crystal Hotel near the Reagan Airport. The event will include, besides renewing friendships, a visit to The National Museum of the Marine Corps at Quantico, the Evening Parade at 8 th & I, other tour opportunities, an “all hands dinner” Saturday evening and a farewell breakfast Sunday morning. Specific information with a schedule of events, hotel contact, and all costs will be published in September. Plan ahead and save on airfare.

Come alone or bring your significant other and family. Most importantly CONTACT YOUR squadron mates and come with a group. Get the word out to all White Knights. Tell them about our website and direct them to get on our roster at: www.165whiteknights.com. We enjoy the camaraderie of our squadron mates and encourage all hands to attend. Bring your memorabilia and stories and join your 165 brothers and sisters.

We will be up-dating you periodically with e-mails and social media. Get on our roster by keeping us up- to-date with your contact information.

Very Respectfully and Semper Fidelis,

Gary Zimmermann
